Highland Oaks Hawks are locked and fully loaded. After losing some key transfers his first two years, Coach Jackson has a roster of who’s-who of the summer ball circuit. With his assistant, Coach Rose, the Hawks are ready to make some noise in the County. Leading the team is senior shooting guard Donnie Malone who dropped 19 points on Houston Middle in their opening game. The Hawks will control the boards with the best big man in Middle school, Isaiah Stokes. Their backcourt is solid with starting point guard Leland Kirkendoll and Desmond Johnson providing the spark off the bench. In their first three appearance the Hawks have dominated their opponents. The test will come when the face better competition like Germantown, Lowrance, and Schilling Farms. Look for the Hawks to make a run this year.
